Richard Cooling 

Dr Richard Cooling (Chairman)

Former Medical Director of a large NHS Primary Care Trust and Senior Partner of a 6-Partner General Practice that he grew from scratch over 25 years. Chaired a small medical charity for 20 years and served on, chaired and advisor to numerous government agency committees. Skilled in strategic analysis, project development, fund and organisational governance, change management, and interpersonal skills. Experienced public speaker.

 Duncan Bryden

Duncan Bryden (Director – lead in Paths project)

An international consultant in rural development projects and university lecturer in visitor management. Duncan brings skills focused on strategic planning, evaluation, funding and management with specialisms in sustainable tourism and visitor management, consultation and governance in community projects. He has lived with his family in Strathdearn for 26 years.

 Steve Cormack

Steve Cormack (Director, lead in Broadband project, website manager)

I am a self-employed craftsman who's lived and worked in Tomatin since 2000. With my partner Fran,  I run two small manufacturing and retail businesses. We wholesale buttons, brooches and loaded dice, and retail various garment and games products through our websites. Twenty years of building and managing our online shops gave me the experience to redesign our community website. It's now better able to keep the community informed and contribute to our daily life.

 James Duncan

James Duncan (Director, representing Community Trust, lead on Strathdearn Hall)

As a joiner in the building trade James Duncan has owned his joinery business in Strathdearn for twenty years and has experience in design and build projects from procurement to completion also vast experience in building maintenance and refurbishment, experience in negotiating with architects, engineers and clients. Has lived most of his life in Strathdearn.

 Alison Gardner

Alison Gardner (Director, lead on finances, director of White River Trading)

Graduate Associate member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA qualified). Worked in many roles across a range of industries - manufacturing, retail, logistics and sales. Currently Financial Controller with a local company with responsibility for all aspects of finance.  I moved to Strathdearn in 2004 as a result of my husband's job. We spent a few years abroad returning to Strathdearn in 2012. Work and chauffeuring teenagers in and out of Inverness keep me busy.
